- Short factual responses
- Observable behavior only
- Predictable routines across visits
What Boring Prevents
Intent interpretation
Emotion gives the system room to assign motives.
Escalation justification
Volatility makes escalation defensible on paper.
Narrative hardening
The longer a story repeats, the harder it is to reverse.
Retaliation attachment
Boring gives retaliation nothing to hook into.
Why This Feels Wrong
Humans want to be understood. Systems want to be defensible. Trying to win understanding often increases exposure.
